The City of Mount Holly Utilities Department is currently performing maintenance to the water tank that supplies the Town of Stanley with water. The maintenance began on July 12, 2010 and is expected to continue until August 23, 2010 when the tank will be filled with water.

The pressure issue experienced by the Town of Stanly has been resolved and the pressure at the base of the water tank has stabilized.
